Katrina Kaif is one of eight siblings, seven girls and one boy, a mother who is a Caucasian of British nationality and a father who was formerly from Kashmir, India, but has since acquired citizenship British. His mother is now re-installed in Chennai (formerly Madras), the capital of Tamil Nadu in India. She spent the following years in Hawaii, then in London, Britain, she started modeling accidentally when she was in Hawaii at the tender age of 14, when she was approached for a jewelry campaign. Thereafter she continued modeling in London. Continuing the model was why she got her break in a Bollywood movie Boom (2003) offered by none other than filmmaker Kaizad Gustad. She was flooded with modeling assignments the minute she put her foot on Indian soil, especially with her innocent expressive face shape, hourglass, and drop-dead gorgeous looks. Professionally, she started as a model with photographer Atul Kasbekar, and after being accepted, she received offers from LG, Cola, Fevicol, Lakme and Veet. It was the Lakme trade that got the note. She retained Matrix as her Manager to accept work on her behalf and at the price it deserved. The move to a different country and culture was not much of a culture shock for her because it shows that no matter where you come from, the bottom line is that everyone wants to be loved, respected and supported.

It follows a simple and healthy diet to stay in shape. Katrina Kaif diet includes -

Its breakfast includes oatmeal , cereals, egg whites a fresh pomegranate juice glass
She prefers boiled rice with vegetables , beans and salad for lunch
For dinner , she cooked vegetables without oil, dal,

chapattis with vegetable soup and a green salad.
She tries to eat less carbohydrates and avoids fried foods
She snacks of fruit and fresh nuts
